Alexander Kadow lives and works in Hamburg, Germany where he was born in 1985.
He has been working as a freelancer and artist since 2011.
The confrontation with the medium of photography and the possibilities and
limits it holds play a decisive role in his work. The combination of experiments with analogue and digital photographic
materials, research based documentary elements and science related imagery ask questions about truth in photography.
After studying photography at the Lette Verein Berlin until 2010 he took the studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg in the class of Broomberg & Chanarin in 2015 and 2017 in the master class of Ute Mahler and Ingo Taubhorn at Ostkreuzschule in Berlin.
