The photographs show carefully arranged parts of detonators. They belong to bombs which were sunk in the Baltic Sea during and after the Second World War. In the archives of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service, these arrangements serve teaching purposes, but, taken out of their context, they appear to be an abstract composition.
